LT80 exhaust smoking
#1
Well, I got the LT running again after a long sit(2-3 months) after hurricane Ernesto took out a tree which in turn took out my shed. So for all that time it sat outside. I had the pipe off and it had a lot of water in it, which I really can not see how that happened, but oh well. I ran it without the pipe on it and it ran great, put the pipe back on and started smoking again. Is there anyway to get rid off all that moisture or do I need to get a new pipe. I would rather get a new pipe, but I just layed out a lot of dough on new wheels and tires, nerf bars, and a new hood. It sure rides alot better with the ITPs on the back, alot more stable. I think I will add the JL extenders up front and then a little mods to the wheels so I turn them inside out to get a little more width on the front. So any ideas on a pipe, I would prefer a good used one so i do not have to spend so much. Thanks for all the help guys.

I put them in my wood stove. You can also use charcoal.
Heat that baby red hot and blow air thru. That'll take care of any moisture and carbon build up.

Thanks, I have a barrel that we burn brush and cardboard in so the next time I burn I will give it a try. Hey LT80 do you recommend a specific brand of aftermarket pipe or do you just prefer the stock pipe? I have the cylinder bored 1mm over and the head shave about 15 thousandths. Thanks for the help, since you seem to be the LT GOD!!!
