Do you use wheel spacers on your Chinese quad?
I just bought a set of wheel spacers for my son's Redcat 150 from Raceway. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Raceway, he is going to have an extra six inches front and rear. What I am asking for, is that if you run wheel spacers on your CHINESE quad (no other quads please) how much of a difference in ride did it make over stock. I am hoping that these spacers might help with the bump steer a little as well as make it more stable in turns. Do you run spacers?

I have a set on my wifes 200. It feels better planted to the ground than the rest of the quads. When I first put them on my wife loved them, in a open field. Then she went back and forth on weather or not to keep them after riding on trails. She didnt like how they hit on things when she cut corners. After our second trip to the same place she doesnt do that any more and likes them again. They will be staying on for good now.

Huge difference. I have the Hensim 70cc which is built with an unusually short wheelbase. I got the wheel spacers from a supplier on ebay for a very reasonable price. Once installed, I noticed that the stability was greatly improved and it seemed to steer better. Each set increased the wheelbase by 3" per axle. I dont think bumpsteer can really be that much improved by increasing the wheelbase. It usually has more to do with the engineering of the suspension. Suspension mods would be in order.

Thanks for the replies all. Another thing I would like to know is if there are any of the big four's shocks that will fit these. As it stands, the front springs on it are way stiff, and I have them adjusted as soft as they go. With me at 170 lbs. on it, it is still hard to get alot of travel out of the front.
