SEADAWG, your not gonna believe this - they gave me $400 as a trade-in for the Meerkat. Which is plenty good enough for a quad that was 3 model years old. (The new ones are selling here for $700 right now, and I bet you could bargain that down $100 or so.)
No, Im not a dealer. (I'm a Psychology Professor, actually, who just likes ATV's and enjoys parenthood and cottaging.)
By the way, I met a guy today who bought his kid a 110 Kazuma "Lacoste" and it died after 15 minutes and then the gears got stuck, so he was headed back to KMS Motorsports in Cambridge (Ontario), but they were closed for lunch. Sure glad I didn't get one! (They were about $1500 or so, but now they are listed on the website as $1200.)
I also talked a bit more to the Eton Canada Rep, who showed me all the "ATV of the year" and head-to-head awards that Eton had won, and he also said he thought the new 4-stroke 90 with reverse that I bought would stand a good chance of winning ATV of the year again. (That would ne nice!) In any case, it looks like we're fairly safe with this bike, but of course only time will tell. (By the way, the rep also said Eton and Kymco do share some parts.) One really cool feature of the Viper we bought is a little LED light display on the front that moves back and forth and looks like like Robocop or some sci fi critter is inside, and I also like the dual front headlights.Text

Check,
I'm truly happy for you and you sound like a hell of a family man. I believe you have a top notch quad and you must keep us posted. Also, let us know if the Kazuma dealer for your buddy's Lacosta takes care of him. Have fun, enjoy life....and love many, trust few and paddle your own canoe You have me all hyped on your new quad...I even want to beat it up Good Luck. I own a 05 CRF450 and CRF70.
We decided to try out a small ATV for the little ones. I ordered a Giovanni 50cc in May. Less than $600CDN to my door from Vancouver. Assembly was easy. Started up and worked fine. Ran it in sand, mud, light rain, puddles - ran fine. I drove it a bit and that caused the front a-arm bushings to all get loose. Did some work to them and were tight again but that is a weakness only really when driven by an adult (not recommended).
Needed more power in the sand so I put an 88cc Honda Trail Bikes cylinder and piston on it. It now spins out in gravel with me on it, and flies with the kids. Again the front end bushings need looked at from adult riding. As I race motocross I can be a little hard on equipment made in China for kids. The quad must only weigh less than 150lbs so a 180lb person is much to heavy for it but i had to try it out again and again. It spins like mad on the hard packed snow. For what it has been put through it is amazing. It is faster than a 110cc quad when you consider the power to weight ratio. Though a 100 is built better for anyone over 80-100lbs. When I see the $2200CDN 90cc quads at the big name dealers I see better things in frame and chassis design but I would never buy one at that price. Once you get up in the cc's perhaps a used Honda would be my next choice but for what we paid and how much time is on it, it has been the best hour/dollar cost of most of our outdoor toys.

Landrew,
Sounds like an amazing little quad. Maybe we can talk the factory into putting that jug on them right away Great review. SEADAWG

Well, I'm back to , uh, square two I suppose. I reported earlier in the thread about a crappy battery (I knew this when I bought the atv) and a bumper that didn't make the trip with the ATV from HighRPMRacer.com. I earlier told everyone that I had a good experience with customer service and the items were shipped promptly.
An item (the battery) did get shipped. They failed to tell me that the bumper would ship separately. Been a week and a half now and no news or communication on the bumper. I know it's not critical to the atv, but, if it's supposed to have it, then I want it.
Now I think I have to change my thinking of HighRPMracer from good to Buyer be Ware!

Sir,
Having a new ATV to show off w/o a bumper makes people wonder if you're all there or not....regardless of internet sales or not. Who want to cruise around with a deformed quad? I'm sure they didn't offer you one off their show room floor....that would take away from sales. I'm sure they wouldn't sell it off the floor like that.
Ask HIGHRPM Racer for the shipping company and tracking number. If it is truly shipped, they will be able to provide both so you can track it via the internet. I do this for the Navy thousands of times a week. If they can't give you one, they lied and need to give it to you off the floor model? Now, did you get the same junk battery? SEADAWG

Dealing with a situation right now with buyatvsonline. If the situation is not resolved to my satisfaction I will let you all know the other company this guy operates under and what the situation is.
