Default Good advice to be found here on chinese quads

At first I was skeptical on buying a couple of these things for my kids, but I went ahead anyway. (Fushin 110's) have seen the same thing under many names. One is a raptor clone, and the other is a camoflouge thing with racks on it, have even seen it on Raceways web-site. I don't think the two were made by the same manufacturer. The only problems I have had are from not being assembled properly, be it from the womans garage I bought them from or the factory where they were made. I finally took the camo atv last night and removed the racks and the body so I could get a better view, and found the fuel hose from the tank to carb resting on the head, as well as the drain hose and a wiring harness resting on top of the engine. All melted needless to say, just a little more riding and I think there was definently a fire hazard. I also found countless loose bolts and nuts. I am repairing and rerouting the hoses and wiring harness, not really that big a deal, but for anyone buying one of these things take the advice you read here and give them a good going over before you let anyone ride them. I'm not bashing the chinese quads, I'm still amazed at what I got for the money, but on the other hand thats what I got for the money. HA HA.

I bought them with the agreement that they are as is, so I didn't even bother.
