Default LT80 on the loose!!!

Just bought a second LT80 today and when I tried to start it (no electric start) the throttle was stuck or something and it took off by itself!!! Dang if it didn't run into the garage and run into the side ofthe expedition and spin the tires until I could get it turned off!

Man my wife was ROTFL! Happens that the neighbors were there as well. They offered to pay for admission.

That was the funny part. List your misadventures for us to read.

The question is this. How do you fellow CVT clutch guys test run your machines without having them take off down the road?

Man I love this forum!

Default LT80 on the loose!!!

Good times as long as nobody gets hurt. About the funniest thing I can think of offhand was watching my brother use the mini quad to chase down a wheel that fell off our trailer while running down the expressway. He forgot to turn off the choke, so it was running a bit rough. Sputtering and popping, trying to keep it running with one hand while the other was holding the retrieved wheel.

well sounds like somethings wrong. i can start both mine up and they never take off. maybe your slide on the carb is in backwards. 180 degrees. maybe your throttle cable is stuck. somethings wrong. that should never of happened. luckly noone was hurt. check it out before some more damage occurs.
