Redcat/Tank atv info
#1
Don't know if anyone has posted this yet but Redcat has teamed up with Tank Motorsports. I had been interested in selling and servicing Redcats but it turned out there was a dealer a few towns over that was within the selling radius of my area. Somehow I ended up on their dealer e-mail list for a couple of their formal annoncements. What I found interesting is that they will no longer be drop shipping atv's un-assembled and they are putting requirements on internet dealers such as they will be required a real address, telephone number, show room and service bay. For the established dealers I'm sure this will increase their business because they already operate a ligitimate enterprise with service and support. But it will be good to weed out all the fly by nights. It is my opinion that they will either do real well and develop the products into more reliable and refined machines or they will end up like Patriot and go by the wayside. I wish Redcat and Tank the best of luck and hope there endevor provides a decent alternative to the occasional atv'er who can't afford five grand for a new atv. Any one else heard any info?
