The oil light on my son's brand new DC 90 (only one tank of gas) is coming on intermittently. It happens at the same speed basically. I took it for a ride down the street and noticed that it comes on at about 15 MPH, and will go out at about 20. It does it whether I gradually accelerate or give it full throttle. How does the oil light work? Does it measure oil level or actual oil being supplied to the motor? I am hoping that this isn't going to be a problem, because we are going out riding tomorrow morning. Any info would be appreciated!!!!!!!

It measures oil in the tank. there is a sensor in the oil tank. Is the tank full? How is it doing so far. Have not heard from you in a cpl weeks.

Good. I have been slammed at work. Haven't been able to go out riding the last couple of weeks. Went out on Sunday for a few hours. ATV is running good! The only complaint (besides the oil light) are the tires. My 700 will climb just about any hill in 2wd, even if I stop midway and take off again. The 90 which is considerably lighter digs in, if the sand is soft. Do you have any suggestions for a better tire?
Yes, the tank is full. I found a couple of posts about the Predator 90 oil light flashing when the restriction was removed. Basically the same circumstances. Are you sure it doesn't measure pressure? I don't know why it would come on in the same throttle/speed range all of the time, and not come on at full throttle.
Thanks again for your help!!!!!
