Not so much squeezing one till it hurts, but rather why pay $12 when I have the stuff lying around, can make my own length, and the gator clips were like $2.50 a pair? Total cost $5.00 + tax
That's $7 for more oil......

i cut the clips off the junk they said was a battery charger, and put it on some old cable I had, works good to jump them off, but now I put on a charger that goes on and off if the batt needs charging

Last nite I took the battery from my Yamoto. (its been dead for over a year) I put it in my Jetmoto 200. I started my 125 and hooked up the cables. I had to rev the 125 a little and the 200 started in about 30 seconds. The cables did get warm but not hot. I never thought of hooking it up to a car but thanks for the tip BigDaddyTX. I might have learned that the hard way.
mykool61679, anytime you save money on one item.....It lets you spend more money on something else.

Here is my take on the Emergency Jumper Cables for your field tool pack.
Emergency Jumper Cables for ATV
Parts List:
1. 1 PC power cord $0.00 one of hundreds I have in my spare PC parts box.
2. 4 $0.99 Mini Alligator Clip from Harbor Freight
3. Solder
4. Soldering Iron
5. Shrink Tubing
6. 20 minutes of Spare Time
Total Cost $0.99
I already got to test them out. My battery on the BMS 150 was dead because I left the key on. I jumped the quad battery from a car battery. Worked awesome. Wires heated a little bit but nothing to worry about.
This is a great Idea especially to keep in a field tool bag or back pack when your out riding.
