Default Meerkat stability ?

My son has a Meerkat 50 and I have a couple of questions about how to make it a little more stable.

I have heard about offset rims with different tires, where can I find more info on that option ?
I have also heard about wheel spacers, and I have seen them on Raceways web page.
Should I widen the rear only or both front and rear?

He rides mainly in the yard at this time, he has said that he wants to try doing donuts in the grass this year.
Any ideas would help. This quad has stock tires, would like to get something a little better. Tires are 145 70-6.

Thanks guys!
