Kazuma 90 noise and will not stay running

It just quit running, adjusted the valves and it still sounds really bad and does not want to keep running it sounds like the noise is comming from the left side, anyone have any ideas? thanks

How old is the quad and are you sure you adjusted teh valves right. It has to be at top dead center. Ticking is usually valves. What oil do you use and did you adjus the idle screw up.

Like 2manytoys suggested check exhaust bolts, readjust your valves. Also you may want to check and readjust your cam chain tension. If it is out of adjustment it will make a tapping to rapping noise.

Here you go. Cam Chain Adjustment
Honda engines produced after 1984 had an automatic tensioner installed in the engines. If yours is the auto type you may want to inspect the tensioner for any worn parts.
