Assisatance Needed .... Won't Start
#1
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I have sunl 110cc that won't start after a day out riding.
It has been a great atv (well worth the $300) until this point, and I think (hope) it just a small fix. All riding has been ez on only trails w/ a few donuts in the dirt. With that being said the atv did fall on its right side when the 'lil man was trying another set of donuts. It was not a hard fall at all the speed was slow. After the fall he was fine and the atv as well. We did go thru some lite mud/water after the fall but the atv was still running fine after that.
Rinsed it off at home, started it up again no problems. ....now today (3days later) I try to start it and nothing.
Here are the things I have checked;
* key is turned on
* fuel checked
* fuses (2) good
* battery is charging now
I turn the key to the "ON" postion and start it like I always have....this time nothing.
Also, how long should the battery be on the charger?
What else might be the problem? Something come loose from the fall? Is there anyone in the N. Dallas area that might be able to assist with the prob if it something out of my hands?

if you have a remote start/stop make sure it is not controlling the starter. i had the same problem on a sunl 125.
as a last resort i played around with the remote (reset it by holding down the on/off button for 30sec) started right up, threw the remote away. good luck

Well,
I checked the switch on the handl bar...not it!
I checked the remote...not it!
I checked the kill plug/switch in the rear....not it!
Checking the remote at 12:45am when everyone is asleep and found the alarm does work so the battery should be fine....I guess.
I beleive I have checked all the wires to be sure there still connected sense the atv did fall on its side (right side) tonight I was thinking maybe something from the ignition (key) area might have come loose from the fall??? I will be looking into that a little closer tomorrow.
Anyone else think of anything I might be overlooking? Also anyone in the Dallas area have wrench experience with these?
Thanks again,

Well I have just installed some spacer on the atv. When I finished the rear tires I moved the block I was using as a lift and let the atv drop 6 inches (maybe) onto it's tires.
Later I tried to start it and tada it started. I think there had to be a wire loos that maybe I missed or didn't secure when I did my first check. Anyway it back and running/starting with the key as well as the remote.
Thanks to all who replied.

if it has the remote start click on the unlock button also if it has a red switch to kill you must push it in if you killed it with the button. check safety plug in back and spark plugs.

Real surprised nobody mentioned grounds... When considering the environments we operate these machines in, it is quite typical to lose your ground to corrosion or wire damage....

Remove the battery connections, clean them with a wire brush, reattach them... You May have already done that, but it is the 1st place to start.
Another thing to try is another battery. Jumping it sometimes works.
How is the no starting situation coming? Ohhhh, now I see it is running-- good
