I agree with chabat...I feel the chest protectors are very important..Second only to the helmet in my opinion..Many minor incidents involve hitting the chest area on the handlebars even if the atv doesn't flip and they don't fall off..If they do roll over its nice to know that they aren't going to get impaled by something in the chest area and it also helps to protect the spine.
