Default HELP!!!! No Spark

Do you still have the remote box. If you do hook it back up and see if you get spark. On some chinese bikes with remote kills if you unhook the box they will not start. You can unhook them but you need a wiring diagram to see what wires you need to jump together to complete the circuit.

Default HELP!!!! No Spark

No I don't have the remote box, it came that way, not running. I have a diagram of similar machine and the wiring seems to check out color match, contunity etc. etc. I'd assume that these are rather genaric. Could the rectifier/regulator cause it??? It looks to like all the key switch does is to actify the starter circuit/ lights and kills the ignition. Thanks JK

Default HELP!!!! No Spark

I finally got it running. I did so much stuff I'm not sure what really fixed it. I think that the pins in the CDI plug were not making a good connection. you might check All the connectors. I ended up cutting the plug apart and closeing each connector up so that it was a good fit then lightly siliconed the whole mess together. Good luck JK

This is a link to site about the CDI box which you might work for you. On mine I think it was actually the connector that wasn't making the trip JK
