I just bought a new 110 Falcon. Do these come shipped dry with no trans oil? How do you check the trans oil? How much does it take and what type?

It sounds like my Harley when it shifts!

Most Chinese quads come with a very low quality oil in them. Some refer to it as shipping oil. I would use Valvoline 10w-40 in it. Most hold about 1 qt. Drain bolt is on the bottom of the engine. The filler hole should be on the right side of the engine, towards the back.

it only uses 10w-40 the oil in the motor lubes the tranny on the 110

 

I bought a Falcon 110 Deluxe a couple years ago and the book says to use 20w-50 oil.

 

10w40 is fine.
