Default Shocks for Suzuki lt 80

Looking for new shocks for suzuki lt80. The stock shocks are terrible. No travel, 2.5" only and way to unforgiving. Looking for better shocks for racing set up. Any suggestions? Works shocks look great and I am told they are the best. But from what I have read, there isn't any more travel then the stock, just better shock rate and they are adjustable. I see midwest minis also has a long travel shock for half the price. It adds an additional 2.5" of travel (5" total) for half the price. Still need to purchase the rear Works shock but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? The rider is a 6 yr old girl, but doesn't like to jump due to the terrible stock shocks.

Welcome to the forums.
I think you will find that any machine will have the same stock shock problem, not just the LT80.
I'd stick with the works.

Currently running the Works on the front of my 6 year old sons LT80. They work great for the front. Still need to get the rear.

If you haven't figured out anything yet, we have run the Works on our LT80. There is more travel than stock, and they work great if you get them all set up for your rider.

Good Luck
