What were you disappointed with? That would help you decide what to look for in a new one.

I won't comment on chinese , but the Kymco's are great bikes. I have had the Kawasaki(Kymco) 50 for about a year now. Not a single issue. What ever path you take , good luck.

look at the roketas They are nice I own one. What size are you looking at getting. The atv-67a is a nice sports quad by them. That is a 125.

I was upset with the reliability, always stalling, had to replace batteries 3 times, had problems with the chain and starting, if it sat for more then a week i would have to charge the battery!!

If it was me I have been proven time and again that the major manufacture's will outlast the cheap china junk. I myself grew up riding 2 of the atv's that I still have and trust my friends children as well as my daughter to ride(and I still ride them time to time myself)

the china batteries are junk. My sons Panther comes with an automatic battery tender that shuts off when the battery is charged, it plugs in to a port on the back of the frame. A good idea since these batteries are good for nothing. Not to mention the accessories they try to power off of these things. The carbs do not come set up either, they take some tinkering to get smooth operation out of the box. China bikes are not plug and play.
If reliability is your goal and you don't want to wrench on the bike, then yes pony up for a name brand. They do last longer and are more reliable no doubt, just cost 3 times more.
For me, I can wrench on them, get the parts for cheap and cant beat the price, so I went for the cheap china bike for my son. My Kawasaki never gives me any work to do anyway.......

thanks and was def. leaning that way on buying one, just wanted to get other peoples thoughts!! thank you very much and I grew up with a honda 200, yamaha 125 and a kawasaki 350 and never had any problems. I thought it was a steal getting one(sunl) for so cheap and you get what you pay for!!! thanks
