Default Neck protection

Thanks for the info. ALthough I am not ready to buy one yet, I will start looking and checking the prices for the used atv's so I will have a better idea of the cost. Thanks again and if you don't mind I would like to drop an email from time to time for your opinion.

Leatt brace? Or take action and design your own product to prevent this type of injury...

It is needed. I read a much worse case of this on riderdown.com were a young boy almost lost his life when he rode through a cable. He was in full gear headed to the starting line at a MX track...

You might try a hockey neck guard. Some are just a 2" band that Velcro's in the back. The kind my kids use have a 6" bib that goes down in the front. It ont protect against blunt injury but there designed to stop a skate blade.
