I know there is some history with this particular bike, in regard to water getting in, I have one and have never had that problem, but my friend has one and his son rides in a few puddles and has all sorts of trouble, he is onto his second replacement stator, but the bike has still got problems, and he has lost confidence in his mechanic.
I have done a search but unfortunately it doesn't seem to go back far enough in time to find the posts that are relating to this problem.

Anyone out there that can offer a solution to this problem?
