My daughters sp 90 is having a starting problem. The starter is out so we just use the kick start. It will start when cold but randomly (more often than not) after it warms up it will not start again. The plug is sparking and its getting flooded.
Another problem, maybe related.
I have the throttle turned down (with bolt on throttle ***.) to limit the speed for her. But some times and it's random also, she will be going as fast as it will go and then it will just slow to a crawl. Then if you let off the gas tottaly for a second or two and then try again it'll then go like it should. When it slows down it's almost like you drove the throttle bolt all the way in. If that makes any since!

I'm pretty sure that machine has the electric choke..Sounds like it may still be coming on once the engine is hot and flooding the engine.

 

What controls the electric choke?
