You get what you pay for ..ITs not for the price and I think if taken care of and serviced it will give you years of riding . But of course it not a jap atv so you wont get their quality which in my opinion is going down hill due they also are outsourcing to China and Taiwan parts, As the vbikes go what I have found looks like they clone the body and frame from Yamaha and the engine possibly from Honda . I know if you look at a china 110cc engine and the Honda 110cc engine they are a match.., I would buy another vbike ...so far so good....

Well I was leaning towards the utility version due to the fact it has high ground clearance and the specs make it sound big , wide and long along with the fact that the seat is high. I am 6'3 and about 200 lbs . My neighbor has a Kawasaki Prairrie 300 which I been piddleing with . The Vbike specs make it bigger than the Kaw but they also gave 2,000 more for it and it was a used one.
My riding is will be 100 % forest rodes and forest trails. Where I live there is 150,000 acreas of wilderness in my backyard and I am 61 y/o . Needless to say those roads and trails that are 5 to 10 miles long are too long to walk at my age. And , the fact that in Arkansas the US Forestry and State has ATV trails set up to ride on , one which is 26 miles long is about 8 miles from the house.
I am leaning on the Vbike due to the cost and they look sturdy , I just wanted some feedback as to the way they have been holding up

Also on the web site of Vbike and this is copied and pasted from the site "JAPANESE QUALITY BUILD". At least on the 300cc Utility , which BTW doesnt state Recoil Start, as the 250cc does , but the 250cc dont state "JAPANESE QUALITY BUILD", either. And as some of you have said its Chinese imports so I am wondering is this guy just making it sound that the Vbike is as good or better than the Jap bikes or is he trying to cover up something. I agree its always a fact one gets what he or she pays for. But, with limited income and a big itch for outdoors when its hard and unreasonable to walk 15 to 20 miles a day at 60.
So again I just wanted feed back as to what this place was like, if any want to set up a chat on yahoo I do have and ID there and would be glad to take specifics on what to look for when I go shopping. Edmond is only 270 miles from me and talking to him on the phone I already have a big discount for picking up in person plus the fact I can "test " each one side beside as he says .
For me looking at the pics the Vbikes are just as good as some of the high priced Jap quads and like everything else you pay for a name. I can take a brand new 80 K $ Hummer and tear it up in less than a day. So its not really how they are made but how they are taken care of like any thing else .

leesumm,Sounds like you have the hardest part taken care of a place to ride.
I really think thru all the comments from fellow vbikers you will be very happy with what you get for the price you pay.One major factor with chinese bikes when dealing thru mail order is be handy with a wrench or know someone who is.You can save yourself a lot of problems by preventitive maintenance.

Some owners on here who have bought Vbikes might find this information interesting . I have found that the 250cc Utility Vbike looks very similiar if not identical to one that swampcycles.com sells for 3700$ which they call a Hensim ATV which looks similiar or identical to one made by Hensim Motor Company in Industrial City Calif. The Hensim Motor company also boasts a 400 cc utility ATV with a Yamaha engine. The Vbike web site shows a 400cc but does not give any specs for it
Now for some more tid bits. Also in checking Loncin which one pic shows the engine on the 300cc is made in China by the Loncin Holding Co. there which also makes Konlin Motors which the web site states "makes over 300 types of motorcycles ,including street, cruiser, cub, and scooter styles covering from50cc to 400cc displacement."
I dont know how much this is relevant to the Vbike but it does make for some interesting reading and time killing .

Well talked to " Tim" today, He has both of what I am wondering immensly about the 250 and 300 cc utility in stock , both side beside to try out . Everything to look at and compare. Sounds like a hell of a nice guy even if he does have some kind of accent I havent figured out yet. He did answer a lot of questions on the phone and gives good answers. I will find out Friday or Sat. when I see them in person and bring one of them back. I think I am getting excited . As suspected they are made in the USA buy a Chinese Company but then what isnt these days ?
