VBike 250CC-V4S
Hey folks .I found this forum a few days ago when searching for some kind of feed back on the off breed 4 wheeler called a V-Bike . In reading these posts it looks to be the same thing I am looking at only in a hunter's version 250 cc utility and the other V-bike called the 300cc M . The M I am assuming stands for monster. by the sounds of the size it is . I noticed many calling the name of the salesman/ owner Tim. Is this the same company in Edmond , Okla ? I am thinking of going over there with in week or so and check these out personally. Then making a choice just wanted to know if you who posted are referencing the same company. By the sounds of the raves here this V-Bike sounds to be every thing a Kaw, Honda, Yamaha. etc is but thousands less in cost.
I am a fairly large individual and the size of either of these machines make it sound like a comfortable outfit, understand however I am not into racing or going fast thru the country and flying 20 feet in air with just a quad under me. Where I live I have a 150,000 acrea National Forest in my back yard and want to ride the forest trails that one cant get on with a pick up or full size 4 wheel drive vehicle. Plus there are several atv trails with in an hour drive from me. So I am wondering how this V-Bike will do and was hoping someone with knowledge of ATV's would rate it with the "Brand name ATV's"

Well think i found the stalling problem. It seems the fuels lines are pretty cheap and the filter , will replace tomorrow and see what happens took the carb off and checked it out seema no problems there , so not time with obvious cause when it is choked it run soon as you take the choke off it stalls out. looks like a fuel problem so change the lines and filter. . The lines are really soft for fuel lines might be collapsing upon itself ..So any feed back would be great ..

Bren,You might try adjusting your throttle jet .I have done this and it makes a nice difference. Here is a thread that will give you a detailed step by step instruction. It only takes about 15 min to do.

Well did the new gas lines and put on a new real fuel filter and before I fired it back up I ddi the clip adjustment .. Well so far soo good it started runs better idles with the choke off ..woo hoo . Still I don't think it bad for the price I paid and what I got , I would hesitate taking it for a long ride .. Just wish there was kick or pull start to back up the battery..

OK, maybe my post was missed ? I asked a few days ago if this Tim and this Vbike is the same one as the one in Oklahoma City or Edmond , Ok. to be exact ? I am thinking of buying one in a week or so and was wondering if any one could give a comparison of the Vibikes to the more popular ones such as Kaw. / Susuki / Honda/ Yamaha. I know this one is an off breed but the person I talked to said it had a Honda like engine ??? I plan on getting the 250cc Utililty or the 300 cc M but all I see listed here is the 250 ??? which I am assuming most is trying to race with ?? , All I am interested in is doing some trail rides on off forest roads that I cant get to with a vehicle and some hunting and fishing. Help would be appreciated

hi leesumm, and welcome.Tim is in Edmond Ok. and as far as I know the only vbike distributor. As far as comparing them to a 5000.00 Name brand they apples and oranges.
If you do your homework and read thru some past posts in this forum you will learn alot about chinese vs big name brands.
Now if you want to compare Chinese brands Then I would say there only a few good machines out there for the money .
Vbike being one of them.

Well for starters it is not quite the same quality as say a HONDA I think all of us would agree.
However the quality of the chinese quads have been improving every year.
All depends what your going to use it for and how good you are at turning wrenches now and then. Lots of th guys one here help each other out as most stuff is little things.
The 250 Utility Vbike has "looks" like the old yamaha bear tracker frame/suspension set up with a Honda engine copy. Looks like the engine they use in thier 250 sport quads.

Now Jetmoto has something similar but it appears to run with a Yamaha engine copy with the pull start back up(which I like when your in the back woods). Also I'm told the Jets are built by Jianshe which is a Yamaha company in China so that would explain the diff. engine. However the Jet. also costs I think 400 bucks more. If it was me I'd go with he Jet as they've got lots of parts and been around a while.
But this is not to say the V bike wouldn't be fine also for your needs. Sounds like the gang on here like the V bike 250 sports. Best bet is to go on down and check it out. Thats what I would do.
