generally bearings are press fit. this means the bearing outer raceway is slightly larger than the crankcase housing that it fits in. press machines used to put bearings in/out are generally larger machines (not a hand tool). you can have a local dealer or machine shop do it or a common technique is to heat the crankcase around the bearing and not the bearing itself. this will cause the crankcase to expand while the bearing stays the same size and it should pull/push out easy.

try puting piece in freezer overnight then in morning heat the case around the race and it might fall out. I have done it many times. cold cotracts the metal and when you heat the metal around it expands making race easy to get out.

Great ideas...if neither of those work I have had luck using a die grinder(heavy duty Dremel) and cutting the race in 2 spots. You have to be very careful not to cut anything but the race. With the race thinned out in 2 places you can usually break the race out. I have also drilled small holes on the opposing side to allow access to the race so it can be driven out with a small punch. (the same size as the hole you drill). This only works if the bearing is not in a sealed compartment. Not much help to get the bearing out only to leak oil out the holes you drill.
