i am having a problem with my 04 predator 90. i just installed a hetrick power up C kit. and i also replaced the stator with one i got off ebay which was off a pred 50. i cleaned the carb and changed the rings and gaskets while i was at it. i also removed the air box and installed a uni because my box was warped baddly. now when i start it up it will idle fine but when you get on the gas it takes off then bogs afew seconds later. it will stay running with the choke on and can be driven. i tore the carb down a second time and found no problem put it back on and the same thing happened. could this be happening because the filter is attached directly to the carb? or is it a jet issue? i swapped out the stock jet for a 90 size.
ps. to install the pipe kit i had to remove the oil tank and battery also. i also added a procom rev box to it. im trying to get it ready to race.

any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I had the exact same problem with our Viper 90..The UNI flows so much more air that the carb is way lean when you open the throttle..I had to jump up from the stock 85 jet to a 115 to eliminate the bog.

Curious what UNI box you put on your 90s? I have a Sportsman 90 and Viper 90, would love to find some replacement for these.

 

i just went to babbitsonline and select your model and go to accesseries youll find it there. i tryed to get one locally but no one could get it. i also get the outerwear with it.
