Default Help troubleshooting

Okay, I've got an APC 90, the electric start is not working, when I push the starter button I hear the solenoid click but nothing further down the line. Am I looking at just a bad solenoid? That's what I think, but y'all gimme your two cents.

thanks

Look at the connections, and if they are tight, then have the battery load tested.

Battery is only 3 months old, connections are tight, I will try hitting it with 12v this weekend and see what happens

Being 3 months old is meaningless. The only way to know for sure if a battery is good or not, is a load test, which is free at any auto parts store.

It might be possible the contacts on the starter switch is bad, have you tried to bypass the solenoid and start it ?

nah, I haven't tried that, the weather has been terrible here, everytime you think about going outside to do something it's been raining.

Also make sure the fuses are good. If it is the battery than you might need to see if any wires are cross or it's not grounded?

nah, I live in NC, but it's the same systems that y'all are getting cold and wet for 3 decent/nice for 1 then back to it. I guess it's alright though cause we need it but it gets on my damn nerves.
