Hi! We are new to being quad owners. We live in AZ on 1/25 acres, and surrounded by lots of trails. We got custody of our Grandson 1 1/2 yrs ago, so I decided to sell my Harley and get the Grandkid and I quads (Hubby has his Harley still, and a horse) Hubby surprised us with a Polaris 550 for me, and a Can Am ds90 X for our GS..this is his first quad (and mine).
We bought from Ride Now..Mine is used, with about 1400 miles on it, Elijah's is new.
First day...Can Am start switch wouldn't work after first start. It has a kick start, so he used that for the time being. Then, the idle was rough..Once the bike got heated up it would stall. Idle was rough. So, we took it back. They kept it a couple days, did some things, and told us it was good to go.
Day 2 of use. Grandson is a real thrill seeker. He is EXTREME ADHD (and some other issues, so we decided because of his impulse control, even though he is a big boy, lets start with a 90) so he wanted to go fast! It goes fast enough for what we want it to do. However, he learned the art of drifting in no time...fun time! Day 3, wake up both back tires are flat. Hubby fixed them (bead broke)
Day 3- gets to ride. went 10 mins, tires flat again...
THIS QUAD WAS NOT CHEAP!! and if it can't handle some heat, it is not the ride for us..but they assured us it is sturdy..Going to have to take it in AGAIN!!
NOT HAPPY AT ALL. My GS LOVES this quad, he feels confident on it. Is this a lemon? maybe. Let's see what they say. And I have a thing to say about RIDE NOW...I would not buy another item from them.
We brought the quad in the first time on SAt, they said they would have it back to us the next day,....it was SUNDAY...afternoon we called and called, service is closed on Sunday! Geezus. Then when we had the tire problem, our sales guy was rude, and said he would have service call us...they never did. I called twice today, no answer. GRRRRRRR.
Anyone else have these issues?

Although this doesn’t help your situation we recently purchased our DS90x and ours made it about 2 days and both tires came off the bead I hope there is a simple and effective solution
