Redcat VX-200 Carb problem?
#1
Hi all. I have Redcat VX-200 that I have owned since March 2006. Never had a problem until now. The bike was stored for the winter with the carb drained. Went out the other day, added gas and started the bike. For some reason the bike will now only run on half choke. Tried riding it and shutting the choke off and the thing would hardly move with me on it, and it kept backfiring. I took the carb apart and cleaned it, and changed the plug which looked like it had been running rich. After all that still have the same problem. When you shut the choke off its like you hit the kill switch. Any ideas or suggestions on what to try next?
Thanks for any and all help.

Get one from Redcat. Not only the are the engines clones of Honda's, but the carbs are also cloned. I have a carb from an old honda, and have placed it next to the carbs for these bikes. The Keihn logo even looks the same, just with different letters. If you get a mikuni, you will be paying the same price you would if you were putting on any Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawi.
