I was just wondering if anyone else getting email updates are getting mulitple emails on the same issue? I have got no less than 3 on the same post and in some cases as much as 6 today alone

Go to your "my forums" tab
Go down the list on that page and clear them out.
My guess is you are subscribed multiple times to the same thread.
I looked at your account and you need to do some deleting.
