Default Transmission problems

I have a 2 stroke mini ATV (my neighbors). It appears to be identical to the ones Giovanni are selling but maybe a smaller engine? The transmission seems to be locked up (engine turns but transmission does not). I am going to most likely require parts but not sure if anyone can supply me or possibly lead me in the correct direction. The transmission is labeled Shanlong Liangzi Power LTD.

A schematic of the transmission might be helpful for parts ordering and disassembling.

The serial number of the ATV is L6FABl027S012668 and the production date is 07-2007.

check out PCC MOTORS on e-bay, they have a couple of differant styles of clutches for the 49-50cc 2 stroke mini atv's maybe this is what you're looking for. or you can go to e-bay and enter this number item#360063024399. i tried to link this but it didn't work.

Yep, that looks like i, but not paying $20.00 to ship it........and thats why I have E-Bay. Nice prices but way overinflated shipping.

Anyone do one of these before? The drum is heavily scored and just wondering if I should replace it too? or just let the kids kill it and worry about it next time.

$20 to ship? you don't live here in the US? it says shipping cost is $9.95 to ship anywhere here in the US. which is just about right.

Nope, from Canada.

And for some reason, most people think shipping to Canada is expensive, when it if normally about 10% more, but they try and charge 100% because some things we can't get here.

Found them for about $20.00 - $24.00 shipped from B.C. or Ontario. Might order 2 sets anyway, looks like it might be a regularily replaced item.

I almost feel guilty about taking the bike now......neighbors "buddy" told him the engine was siezed. I assumed it was checked, but guess not. I was just taking it for spare parts.....got second bike for the boy to destroy now!!!

Parts on order from AllStarSales. Not the cheapest (was only about $3.00-$5.00 regardless of who I used), but have dealt with them before and felt more comfortable giving them the business.

Will update when they arrive.

Got the clutch installed and bike is now running.

Tied it and the clutch still seems to be slipping? Talked to the old owner and he told me it always seemed to be sluggish, and never really had great take off. He never drove it, only the kids and the clutch was down to metal when I got it, after he said about 5-10 uses.

Any help would be appreciated.
