I purchased the Eton 90R 2-stroke and been maintenance free. The problems I had were mostly caused by not knowing how to set up the atv correctly (carb. adjustment, wheather proofing the electrical connections) to name a few. I weigh 240 pounds and the Eton carried me withot a problem. I just recently post if anyone knew of a relocation aif filter for the Eton. The only reason for this is because my son loves the water, need I say more!! LOL. I think that the Eton is bulit well and after two years of abuse, it is still running without any problems.

We have a Eton Viper 90 2 stroke, we raced it in the 90 stock mx series in MN. Last year he was class champion and is contending agian this year. After all last year and over half of this years abuse we finally put a new piston in, it didn't really need one but we were opening the ports up so we figured we might as well. Other than that it has been an excellent quad.

we have one of each, the eton 50 is a much better machine then our baja 90, faster, more power, better ground clearance, all around better quality

We have had our Eton 90 for 4 years and it's been great. Selling it now since my son started riding his brothers Blaster

Our eton two stroke has been very reliable...The BAJAs are not the best quality and require lots of maintenance..

The only thing with the new ETON is they are 4 strokes now. To me that would be a drawback, but may be what you are looking for. A used 2 stroke ETON, KASEA, DRR, APEX would be my personal preference.

Maybe consider a new DRR or Apex. Dual a-arms= much better ride.
The Eton is a fine machine.
