need some help what is the connection on clutch lever for?It is a two prong electrical connection

 

safety switch,when the atv was new the clutch lever needed to be depressed in order to start the engine, should have two wires connected to them. since you purchased this quad used the pervious owner might have unpluged the two wires, connected them to each other.

 

I BOUGHT the quad brand new from ALLSTARSALES in Vancouver and did it not come with this connection,is this the reason quad wont start,it will push start though

 

Its a two prong fitting directly below clutch lever and is round with two small electrical spade connectors

 

I will look to see what mine has...I will get back to you...I do think i may have answered your question already in a diffrent post...but i will look to see the connection your talking about. The starter kill is in the front brake lever.
