Help with 110cc bmx 707 atv
I got my sons atv in today and after about 21/2 to 3 hrs to put together problems started. First of went to place front tire on and one of the arms is missing a bushing . I cut a rubber hose and put it in to use until I can get the other one . I thought well all is well now and it was until I put gas in it. Gas pours out of the overflow hose so I now have carb problems . I think they left the float out of it because it is a brand new engine and should not have trash in it. Damn people I got it from said call back monday when service people are in. Now I have 2 upset kids and I am not sue what to do next. Should I just ask for a new carb and bushing or what? Tell me what you would do if you were me.

Pull the carb off the machine and take the fuel bowl off. Most likely the float is set wrong. It wants to appear level if its right. You can bend the tabs on it to get it level. Might try tapping, not pounding, on the side of the fuel bowl first, sometimes that will loosen the float IF its stuck and not out of adjustment.
