Yes those are the bolts. The four bolts that hold the axle to the swing arm will need to be loosened and then the bolts out the back are for the adjustment. Once you have loosened the swing arm bolts you can loosen the nuts on the adjuster. Just loosen the nut on the back side and spin it down the shaft towards the axle. This nut is just a jam nut. Now the nut on the front will need to be spun out towards the end of the bolt (away from the axle). This will allow the axle to pivot forward. Now you should be able to get the chain on the sprockets. Now start to tighten the nut that is on the out side. As the nut tries to tighten the bolt it will pull the bottom axle bolts towards the rear and will tighten the chain. Tighten the nut until you get about a 1/2 inch deflection in the chain up and down and then tighten the four nuts that hold the axle to the swing arm. Now spin the nuts that are closest to the axle on the adjusters and tighten. Finished. Ghcoe.

if the swing arm bushings are shot, the chain will continue to fall off. the design of the swing arm bushings on the 250d are terrible. i've been looking for the parts forever, but i can't find them. i think i'm going to have to fab some on a lathe. if anyone knows where i can get some for the 250d, please let me know.
