I am in need of a clue on how I go about replacing the starter on my 110 roketa. It is the starter on the bottom of the motor. I got it off by removing 3 bolts and wiggling it until it came off. Then I realized that there is a chain inside and I can't put my new one in the same as I took the old off. Do I need to rip the entire thing apart? I started to pull off the cover on the outside, but I noticed oil coming out so I stopped.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. This ATV has been a pain since day 1. Thanks!!!

 

When I changed my 110cc BMX starter I had to take off the cover where the chain was hooked up the starter motor, but my starter is a top mount, Iam sure yours is similar.

 

Starter replaced, engine turns like a dream !!! Thanks to all for the help. Just need to adjust the throttle and I might finaly be done with this one. PS just in time for the other to start popping off its chain. I guess I'll learn as much as possible with these ATV's.
