Default Polaris Outlaw 90 Vs. Honda TRX90

my son is 6.... im 6 ft 3 and 270 lbs...he's gonna be bigger than me too.

with that being said, the outlaw 90 is just right for him RIGHT NOW...in about a year, im willing to say he will be looking to upgrade

a friend of mine who is also as big as i am, and whose 8 yr old son is following in his footsteps, just took over his mom's zuki 250...its smaller than the recon.

i wouldnt waste time with a 90, with as fast as your son is going to grow within the next year, unless you want to buy a new bike next year

I have a 4 yr old who will get it when he is done with it, which is why I didn't buy the junk 4 wheelers that are out there. He has riden my wifes 250 Recon on my property and is too small for it. Plus it has way too much power and speed for an 8 yr old regardless of size. I figure he will get 2 maybe 3 years out of it and then he will get his Mom's Recon when he is strong enough to really handle it. My daughter who is 4 is already talking about it being her 4 wheeler someday!

I see kids, everytime I'm out, riding 4 wheelers that are too big for them and they can not control the speed / weight of the machine. I think this is why so many kids get killed riding 4 wheelers. I'd rather him be a little too big for it than the other way around.

Default Polaris Outlaw 90 Vs. Honda TRX90

Hey Jeff,
I bought an Outlaw 90 for my daughter for Christmas as you did. She is seven and she is doing great on it. I was looking at all brands as well, and narrowed it down to either the DS90 or the Outlaw 90 due to reverse and auto and lights. I went with the Polaris due to the price being bit cheaper, but not by much, also I was seeing a lot of performance and reliability issues with the Vietnam made Can -Am on the various forums. The Outlaw is is running great and my daughter loves it, she not much of a fan of 0 degree weather so we only have about 3 tanks of gas through it so far, but very happy with it. Now I wish I could find a small rear rack for it. I was thinking maybe a 6-pack rack but it looks like they drop down to far and will hit the muffler. Anyone have any advice on what may be able to fit? I know they do not make one specifically for the Outlaw 90, but there has to be something out there.
