bigger motor for lt80

you really need to look at the frame on the 80. My son had one and had thought the same thing. It depends on what you are wanting to do with the bike. After looking at it I realized the money I would put in it to get it where I wanted it I could have bought a new one with most everything done and would only have to do some mods of my own. I do not feel that the frame and suspension will hold up to too much. Just my 2 cents. hope this helps your decision.

i do have a spare lt80 motor so maybe thats the way to go.how much more power would i expect from a hot motor,what are the best mods & does these mods effect the reliability of others parts of the bike (clutch, etc.),any info greatly apreciated.

well I have a mod motor the lt80(jack moore) built for me. stock is 5HP. his mods with stock pipe 10HP. with a trinity pipe your at 15HP. I have the stock pipe on mine. Im 6'2" and 300 lbs and it will run 42to 45 mph with me on it. its a blast. talk to him and he will take care of you. give him a call.
