Default Carb Rebuild ?

I thought that at some point there was a thread about rebuilding carbs. I have search on here and am unable to find it. I might be rebuilding the one on a Jetmoto 125. Any info would be helpful. What way would I move the clip on the throttle cable inside the carb.

Thanks

Default Carb Rebuild ?

It was probably in the raceway section. Carb rebuilding is fairly simple once you do it. You need a clean bench and some carb cleaner in a spray can. Remove the carb from the quad. i like to clean the outside of the carb before cleaning the inside. Once the outside is clean remove the float bowl cover and then the float assy. The float has the needle attatched to it so be careful and do all the work over a bench in case you drop something. Next pull out the 2 jets in the bowl of the carb. These can be removed with a small crescant wrench. You also want to remove the idle and fuel screws. Once all the components are out of the carb you need to spray carb cleaner thru all the holes you can find. Also want to clean the jets real good with the spray. If you have a air compressor its also a good idea to blow out the carb with compresed air. On assembly the float should be fairly level..it can be adjusted by bending the little tab on the float. The fuel screw should be set around 2-2.5 turns out and the clip should go towards the bottom of the needle if its adjustable.
