Does anyone have the cylinder head tourqe spec's for a water cooled 2008 drx 50. I am going to rebuild the top end for the first time and could use some tips.

We have raced 2 seasons on this bike and it is stock except the wheels and air cleaner

I torque the head nuts to 115 inch pounds.

 

thanks that will help alot, Is there a tech site that I could go to for referance for other stuff like omitting the oil injection and removeing the oil pump gears. My son loves to get the hole shot.

thanks, in the kit that I got it has the piston, two rings,an ochtagonish ?spring ring thing?, wrist pin, clips and a couple gasket . What is the ochtagon springy thing that was not on my stock set that was on the bike.?

 

If it's what I'm thinking, the LT80 stock bore piston has that thingie too. You should find out which ring it goes under. I'm thinking the top ring.

 

I got it back together and did not use the thingie but broke one of the rings and ended up putting the best use ring out of the old set. it rens great. At half throdle it has almost the same as before. Cant wait to open it up.
