V-Bike 300, Monster Utility
#1
I bought a V-Bike 300, Monster last Saturday and rode it Sunday, it was a blast. I ran good after adjusting the carb. It has plenty of power and runs great. found few loose nuts but was expecting more of them. Tim at V-Bike was great at answering my questions about the bike. Will say more when I get some seat time for real.

I'm likely going to buy one of the Vbike 250 models. I've heard nothing but good things about this "Tim", and most of the comments on the Vbikes/TaoTao's seem to be fairly positive (as long as they are coming from people with reasonable expectations and a decent mechanical ability).
So please do keep us informed- Yours is the first post I've seen about the 300. (Which ultimately would be my first choice....except I don't want to spend that much- plus figure that the lighter weight 250's would be more handy)
Best of luck with it!

well, have a few miles on the 300 and love it, it has power and rides great. I'm only 5'6" and with short arms I find the 300 is easy to handle. I installed a winch on it and the mounts fit as the should with a little prying because of a tight fit, but it works. I recommend the 300 to anyone looking for a good bike without breaking the bank. I did -my fault- knock out the starter switch, but a call to Tim and one is on the way.

KentuckyDonkey/ I have both the 250cc utility and the 300 cc monster both was had from Tim at Vbike. For the money and what I want out of a atv it cant be beat. I have pictures of both in the profile if you care to see, plus some of the places in Arkansas where the 250cc has been but not the 300 yet. The 250 is a year old and the 300 hasnt got 10 miles on it. The 300 belongs to the wife, its faster than the 250 as mine is shaft driven and hers is chain. but both have the power and torque to climp some of the hills we have down here. Either way you wont be sorry. The 250 I hunt with and do some trail riding. As said the 300 is the wifes and she just follows the 250 for now.
