110 clutch adjustment
#1
I attempted to adjust the clutch on my kids chinese atv because it seemed to slip a little at top end (full auto). i tried the method of turning counterclockwise until resistance is felt, but no resistence was ever felt. So, i removed the right side cover to inspect. Am i missing something or is there no adjustment?
There's a spring and sleeve in the center of the clutch, and what i thought to be the adjusting bolt is attached to the case with a nut. The adjust bolt is threaded on the engine side as well, and appears to simply rest against the sleeve/spring assembly. If i am not missing parts, I dont see how turning the adjuster with a flat head could make any difference in its position. Am i missing something?
thanks.
