Default Modifying a stock lt80 pipe

Has anyone done this? I've read that the stock pipe is good in many threads. My thoughts were to maybe cut off the endcap and take out the internal stock spark arrestor (I'm assuming it must be a Chrisman type like the old LT50's) and welding the cap back on. The other thought was to just replace the drain plug with a threaded pipe insert to have two outlets. Anyone want to weigh in on this? Has anyone done any modifications to the stock pipe that they felt made it better? If so, what did you do.

It's going on a LT80 with a ported reed block, milled head .25, two front rollers taken out and rear shoes shaved down to 170 grams, and oil injection has been removed and running a 90 jet. It's only ridden in Glamis.
