Default eton rascal help??????????????

i have an eton rascal 40 that runs and idles ,,with wheels off the ground they spin like heck when you hit the gas,,put it on the ground it does not move under load. so far i have cleaned the carb,,put a new piston&ring in,,new rev limiter,,new clutch shoes,,and blew thru the exhaust,,,i have taken the gear box off the quad and the motor runs great,,hit the gas and the clutch opens up.. this friken thing is driving me crazy please if there is someone out there please help,,before i go get the backhoe!!!!!!!!!!

Default e-ton 40 help please

I am having the same issue with my eton rascal. Have you figured out how to cure this issue cause Im at the same point of getting the backhoe and running it over first then sending it 6 feet under. Please let me know.

My eton rascal was doing the same thing. The air filters on these atvs are cheaply made(at least mine is)and they allow dust to enter the system. What I did was remove the carb, disassemble the float and needle valve, spray with carb cleaner and put it back together. Fixed mine anyway.
