Put the rollers back in.
Get springs and you'll go even slower cuz of not enough motor.

I already tried that. It feels like the rear clutch is engaged right from the get go. shouldn't it now spin up a little before taking off?

Yes, the stall speed should have increased.
You didn't forget the washer in the front clutch did ya?
I guess you'll have to tear it apart to check things.

Any luck on finding the problem Moe. The rest of my parts should come in this Friday, so I will be digging in this weekend.

No we rode it as is for the first time. I will have to print out the assembly and then tear it apart and see if I have something in the wrong order.
