LT80 runs better with choke up?

Thumbs up LT80 runs better with choke up?

All of a suden my daughter LT won't stay running and sputters a lil. I pulled the choke up and it runs like a charm. Whats the deal? And thanks in advance!

That means its not getting enough fuel in the regular position....clean the carb would be my first task. Check and replace spark plug.

You most likely have something plugging up the pilot circuit. Pull the carb off, remove the float cover and take out the pilot screw and make sure it is good and clean. Take a can of carb cleaner and give everything a good spray.

I agree..Carb.
I'll add, remove both jets and make sure all the lil holes are open.
Leave that black rubber thing out.

Already changed plug it was good but I'll pull the carb.

LT80 are you refering to the black rubber thing around the jets and if so are you saying not to put it back on at all? It looked as if it was actually covering the jet!

Yes, It'll squish and cover a jet. That thing is more trouble than it's worth.
leave it out. It won't be a problem.
