Default 2000 alpha sport rear brake

My son's rear brake has completely stopped working.

I have had the throttle liming screw turned almost all the way in so it wasn't much of an issue. I have started to open it up a little so I need to fix the rear brake.

It has what looks like a drum on the rear axle.
It is mechanically operated (cable).

Before I start randomly removing parts...
What the right way to get to the pad/shoe?

I have been using an Eton manual but the Eton has a hydraulic rear brake.

In the past I had found a website that I used to find pads that would fit my son's Eton Viper 90r. It was great it had a chart showing which shoes/pads would work on what atv. I will look for it again.

Your going to have to remove items on that side of the axle until you get to the brake drum..Tire/wheel, hub, axle spacer, etc...
