i guess its the bubbles hitting all over it getting all the stuff off that the cleaner loosened up. it has been highly recommended to boil the carb to get it the cleanest that it possibly can get.

Oh boy.....the wife is not gonna like that....not one bit! I'll have to wait until she goes to work and then use one of her good sauce pans!

Boiling is what we do when all else fails.
Usually isn't needed.

Actually, I just need to find an old pan. I'll use the coleman camp stove outside. Problem is now I need a carb rebuild kit....right?

So just remove the rubber stuff and reuse right? Are there any o-rings inside? Other than the bowl gasket is there anything else I need to wory about? I will remove the bowl gasket, main jet, float, float needle, and float needle seat. Am I missing anything?

I know there is at least one o-ring, i think there is one under the main jet, i cant remember if there is any more. Also there is a big black rubber thing that sort of goes over the main jet, toss it in the trash, its not needed & sometimes can get in the way when putting everything back together
