gio mini beast 110cc electrical???
hey guys..ive picked up this little quad from my brother, the thing has less than 20hrs on it and was running at one point. anyways he had some elctrical problems at one point and was sent a bunch of new parts..cdi, coil, rectifier. and still never managed to get it running again and decided to take the motor out. so now i have have it an its kind of a hacked apart as far as the wiring goes. does anyone have a diagram for this thing or any pictures that may help me peice this thing back together. i ahve the majority of it fiqured out but still not sure where everything goes as im not the one who took it apart. any help would be great..
thanks, eric

The stator has a battery charge winding and will keep your battery charged though the voltage regulator while the engine is running.
If you leave your quad sitting for weeks on end then the battery will self discharge. In that case you need to have a small maintenance charger that keeps the battery topped off. Walmart sells these. Get one meant for a motorcycle battery.

great thanks alot for the help. ..would anyone be able to take a few pics for me of the 110cc gio quad and their electrical system to compare to and or fallow where some of the various electrical components like the soliniod and handle bar mounted controls. iam having trouble following the diagram in some spots due to the random colous of wires gio seems to use..nothing actually matches up
