Default KFX 80 fuel filter

My carb had become dirty 2 time now and will only run with the choke on. Carb & tank cleaned and it happened again. Can a fuel filter be added to the fuel line or will that not work with the vacuum fed fuel system? Is there a fuel filter made for this atv?

Welcome to the forums.
Usually a lawn mower inline fuel filter is used. You can get them at a autozone/etc.
FYI: Dirt comes in from the vent hose also.

The problem was the petcock went bad. Small pieces of the diaphram were going into the car. Replacing the petcock fixes the problem.

Where did you get the new one? Price?
There should be a stock fuel filter inside the tank above the petcock assembly no?
