lt 80 oil pump removal

It's pretty simple actually. It took me longer to get the darn oil tank out than anything else.
Pull of clutch cover and remove the plastic piece on the end of the crank shaft.
Remove the two bolts that hold the oil pump on (Allen Screws)
Go to LT80 Hop-Ups and order the block off kit.
I had to remove the rear fender and battery to get the oil tank out.
Make sure you cap off the oil inlet on the carb, the kit comes with a plug.

i just got mine running tonight after rebuild. i mixed at 32-1 but i might run a little higher next gallon mixed. seemed to smoke just a tad bit. but ran perfectly fine. wouldnt say so much of a big power gain although i took it off while doing whole build so i dont know the difference between just oil pump removal and all stalk. I WOULD say that it is just a no brainer that it puts less strain on the motor alternately giving it more power some would say
