The rear tires on my sons LT80 are just about worn out (original quad bought used). There has been alot of discussion through the years regarding tires for the LT80. Some say a wider tire will give better traction and stability. Then some say the wider tires will cause more damage due to friction with the ground. This has led to much confusion on my part. What the tires (brand and size) thave you guys had the best experience with. The little guy doesn't need anything overly agressive. Mostly general trail riding and a little snow. Thanks

 

I ran 20x7x8 Kenda Scorpions on my son's LT80, great tread, light and cheap. I didnt replace the fronts, they had decent tread, but the backs were shot, and it was hard to find 19x7x8 tires back then, except the factory ones. They are almost exactly the same size as the stockers.I think you can also get an 18x9x8 Kenda, that would be a little lower and wider, if you want that racer look.

yeah i do like them got 2 on her Lt 80 on the back and have 2 on my honda on the front. both sets look and perform great.got them at discount tire was the cheapest place around here where i live I think they were around 50 bucks and they mount n put new valves in them
