Hi i just bought an lta 50 for my wee girl, it started 1st time when i bought it i seen the guy messing about with a throttle button. so got home and took it out and it took me about 10-15 pulls to start it and in between i was moving the throttle up and down, when it started it was fine and ran great. How should i start the quad and were should the throttle be, i dont have a clue about quads and any help would be much appreciated.

can't believe after reading this thread that not one question was responded to.. take it to a dealer cause he asking how he should choke the machine..
anyhow - starting cold quads personally I choke mine half (mines a little 90cc) cranks cranks cranks verrrroomm.. however this might not be the case for you depending on your adjustments, so playing with a few things heres what I would look at
1) I would start the cold quad starting at half and see where that gets you then full if need be,,
2) once you have it started and running adjust your idle screw - you shouldn't have to touch the throttle while attempting to crank it over
if it's been sitting you may want to get in a good carb cleaning in
I'm by far no pro just learned enough over the last few months after purchasing this little 90cc for the son
hope that gives you something to test out
